Who builds Scitor
Scitor is built and operated by MindByte, founded by Michiel. It's a self-funded, independently operated product — not a team spun out of a larger platform company.
Where it's operated from
MindByte operates from the Netherlands. Scitor's terms of service and privacy policy are governed by Dutch law, and data protection matters fall under the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) — see the privacy policy and terms of service for the full legal detail.
Why Scitor exists
Scitor exists to let developer teams handle customer support without leaving GitHub — turning inbound email into GitHub Issues instead of running a separate helpdesk with its own login, its own user list, and no connection to the code the conversation is actually about.
